Meet Cassie
I believe good therapy starts with connection. You should feel comfortable enough to be honest, understood enough to feel seen, and confident that the person sitting across from you can help you make sense of what’s happening.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and engaged. I listen carefully, ask questions, notice patterns, and gently dig deeper when there may be more beneath the surface. There’s room for humor, too. Therapy can involve difficult things without every moment having to feel heavy.
How I Work
I don’t believe therapy should follow a formula. I pay attention to what you bring into the room—what you say, what you may have difficulty saying, the patterns that emerge, and the connections that may not be obvious at first.
My approach is intuitive and integrative. I draw from different evidence-based approaches depending on what fits you, rather than asking you to fit a particular model. Sometimes our work may involve understanding where a pattern began. Other times we may focus on what is happening right now, process an experience that continues to have an impact, or develop a different way of responding to something that keeps showing up in your life.
I’m an active therapist. I’ll listen carefully, ask questions, offer observations, and gently challenge you when I think it may be helpful. We’ll make connections together and adjust our approach as we learn more about what you need.
Above all, I want our work to feel useful, personal, and genuinely tailored to you.
Therapeutic Approaches
My work draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, psychodynamic and person-centered approaches, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I select and integrate approaches based on the individual rather than relying on a single method.
